Those of you who know me know that Grover (from Sesame Street) has been my favorite since I was one-year old or so. A few years ago, my mother-in-law gave me this uncut key in my Christmas stocking. I’ve been saving it for something special, and this week, I had it cut to fit our home. The guy at Lowe’s liked my little story so much he didn’t charge me.

From The New York Times

Jacob spoke first.

“I want to know if my hair is just like yours,” he told Mr. Obama, so quietly that the president asked him to speak again.

Jacob did, and Mr. Obama replied, “Why don’t you touch it and see for yourself?” He lowered his head, level with Jacob, who hesitated.

“Touch it, dude!” Mr. Obama said.

As Jacob patted the presidential crown, Mr. Souza snapped.

“So, what do you think?” Mr. Obama asked.

“Yes, it does feel the same,” Jacob said.

That’s powerful stuff, folks.

A lefty?
